olacare is the subscription that powers the AI voice assistant on your olacompanion. The watch's assistant does not answer without an active olacare subscription.
1. Price and free period
olacare costs £7.90 per month (UK) or €9.00 per month (EU), including VAT. The first 3 months are free. Your subscription starts when you buy the watch; after the free period it renews automatically every month and your card is charged, unless you cancel before the free period ends.
2. Reminder before you are charged
We will email you before the free period ends, telling you the date of the first payment and how to cancel.
3. What's included
- Voice conversations with the AI assistant, in all supported languages.
- Personas, the blue or white theme, and your conversation history in your account (export or delete anytime).
- Firmware updates over the air.
- A monthly fair-use allowance of AI usage, shared by all your watches. It is not unlimited. Your account shows how much of it you have used as a percentage, and the date it resets. We let you know as you approach it. If you reach it, the assistant pauses new questions until your next billing period starts; you can also buy one-off extra usage for the rest of the period.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from your account (Account, then "Manage billing"), which opens our payment provider's secure billing portal. The subscription then ends at the end of the current paid period (or of the free period) and you won't be charged again. You also have a 14-day right to cancel the subscription from the day the contract starts.
5. Price changes
We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails we will email you and retry. If it still fails, the assistant stops answering until the payment is made.
7. Service availability
The assistant relies on our servers and our AI partners (OpenAI) and needs Wi-Fi. We work to keep the service available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted.
